⚠ IMPORTANT PAYMENT NOTICE
A 2.75% non-refundable service fee will be charged by the payment processing company for credit or debit card payments made online, by phone, or through Auto Pay. The service fee will be added to your payment amount, itemized separately on your receipt, and is not refundable.
No service fee applies to eCheck, ACH, cash, check, money order, or in-person credit or debit card payments made at the VTES office or the Virginia Tech Bursar's Office.

Create an Account
Go to billpay.vtes.vt.edu or click the “Pay Your Bill” button on the VTES homepage vtes.vt.edu.
Click “Sign Up Now”.
Fill in the Login and Personal Details. Make sure to have your bill handy as you will need your account and meter numbers to register.
Click “Register Now”.
Sign Up For eBilling
Customers can set their eBilling preference while registering for an account and change their preference and email address from the “Profile” section after signing in.
Pay Your Bill Online
With billpay.vtes.vt.edu, you can pay your bill using eCheck, ACH, credit card, or debit card by selecting "Bills & Payments" and then "Pay My Bill".
Online credit or debit card payments are subject to a 2.75% non-refundable service fee charged by the payment processing company. ACH and eCheck payments are available at no additional cost.
Sign Up for Automatic Payments
Sign up for automatic payments on the “Bills and Payments” screen by selecting “Auto Pay”.
Customers enrolled in Auto Pay using a credit or debit card will incur a 2.75% non-refundable service fee charged by the payment processing company on each payment. The service fee will be added to your payment amount and itemized separately on your receipt.
Text to Pay
Sign up for Text to Pay on the “Bills and Payments” screen by selecting “Text to Pay”. You will receive a text message each month when your bill is due and be able to pay via text using your saved payment method.
Text to Pay payments made using a credit or debit card are subject to a 2.75% non-refundable service fee charged by the payment processing company. The service fee will be added to your payment amount and itemized separately on your receipt. Customers may avoid this service fee by using eCheck or ACH as their saved payment method at no additional cost.
Explore Your Transaction and Electric Usage History
View up to 2 years of transaction data by selecting "Transactions". You can also analyze and compare your billed electric usage and history with the “Billed Usage” and “Compare” Menus.
NEW! View the past 14 months of your detailed daily and hourly electric usage history by selecting "Detailed Usage".
